The Gales of November are storms that occur every year due to pressure systems converging over Lake Superior. These systems create strong winds and large waves, in which the Gales are wind speeds that exceed 34 knots.

About Gales of November
Sustainably and Ethically made Clothing
Sustainable clothing consists of Natural or Recycled fibers. This means no pesticides, no fertilizers, and no chemical treatment, reducing the overall carbon footprint of the clothing. Ethical clothing refers to the cultivation, creation, and distribution of clothing that not only reduces harm for the planet, but also people.
Why are we doing this?
We wanted to bring together multiple aspects of our life that we are passionate about to bring change: sustainable and ethical clothing, and water conservation. This is our conscious effort to drive change against unethical consumerism and water pollution.
Water - Our Most Precious Resource
Nearly all living beings on this planet require water to survive, and although 70% of the worlds surface is covered in water, only 3% is freshwater. Of the surface freshwater on the planet, the Great Lakes make up 20% of it.
